Our Unique Finds Rustic Washboard has been handmade by Indonesian artisans who have made washboards like this for generations. You take your clothes, rub soap on them and then rub them over the ridges of the board to loosen all the dirt and get them clean. Many communities around the world still clean their clothes in this traditional way.
