Shoreditch TV Unit

Our Shoreditch TV Unit is a complete entertainment storage space. It's 120cm long so it can hold a hefty TV on top. Plus, it has all the space you need for your other gadgets as well. So there are two open shelves in the front with discreet cable holes at the back, so you can have your remote controlled technology on there such as a satellite-, cable- or set top box.

Store away space. Plus, there are 4 drawers: 2 on each side, for all your other bits, from cables and connectors to karaoke mics, from video games to consoles, handsets and headsets.

Light on colour with heavyweight quality. This strong, sturdy unit is made from quality sungkai wood, that's prized for its strength and light colour. The unit has a distinctly retro feel with the wooden wedge handles and splayed tapered legs.

As with all wood it still lives on and we suggest not placing it in direct sunlight or next to heat sources such as radiators. In dry centrally heated houses it will expand and contract and may cause splits and warping to the timber especially on the tops of tables.

About our Shoreditch Furniture Collection

Our Shoreditch collection is made from solid Sungkai wood, a hardwood native to Indonesia and used for furniture and houses, all sourced from controlled plantations to ensure a reliable and sustainable source of timber. The wood is then shaped into the vintage retro style of this collection. As with any natural product there are going to be variations in colour, grain and finish. This can be seen in the wood having a darker patch or a not being quite smooth and uniform shape of a manufactured piece of furniture. We feel that these variations are all part of the character of this wonderful range of furniture.

As with all solid wooden furniture, the wood in the Shoreditch collection still lives on and needs to be taken care of. The wood will move and may split with changes in temperature especially in modern centrally heated houses or in exceptionally hot weather, these can be easily filled with a wood filler. The Shoreditch collection is finished with a sanding sealer, although this seals the pores of the wood it does not give any protection against stains. We recommend a using a clear wax or similar to seal the piece if this is needed.
